The Madison Slam Team is readying itself to travel to the National Poetry Slam in Austin, Texas. There is a song that says, "There ain't much money in poetry, but that's what sets the poet free." At least, I think that's from a song. There's another line, I think, that says, "There ain't no poetry in money." I guess that depends on your point-of-view.
