Susan Boyle Wants to be a Professional Singer

Mocked as a Child,
Ambitions put on the backburner of life,
Unemployed at 47,
With only her cat and a dream,
Mourning the passing of her mother,
A desire to be a profession singer,
Can she seize her opportunity?

Henrietta Hughes

I have an urgent need, unemployment and homelessness,
a very small vehicle for my family and I to live in.

The housing authority has two years waiting lists, and we
need something more than the vehicle and the parks to go to.

We need our own kitchen and our own bathroom.
Please help.

The First Conviction

Spammers have to be more worried now.  They are going
to be facing jail time.  Spoems.com tries to make lemonade
out of the lemons sent to our e-mail boxes everyday: it isn't
a solution.  Is giving someone nine years in jail a solution?

RICHMOND, Va. - A divided Virginia Supreme Court
affirmed the nation's first felony conviction for illegal
spamming on Friday, ruling that Virginia's anti-spamming
law does not violate free-speech rights.

Jeremy Jaynes of Raleigh, N.C., considered among the
world's top 10 spammers in 2003, was convicted of massive
distribution of junk e-mail and sentenced to nine years in prison.

Spoems Can Be Fun

Checking e-mail has its ups and downs.  Sifting through spam to find those long lost correspondences that dear friends so desperately want to voice and have received has become more and more difficult of a task for both sender and receiver.  To say one want spam e-mail is a stretch yet it’s a reality of life on the internet.

What do you do when you have lemons?  Well, of course you make lemonade.  Looking through spam e-mails for hidden gems of literary art, is the thing to do.  Those jumbled prose that make sense yet have a random poetry about them.  Spoems can become beautiful poems, meaningful anecdotes at times.  Once again, they can be fun too.  Look forward to all of your e-mails again.  Don’t let the spammers steal ones joy.  Spoems.com is the place to highlight your spam poetry.  Is there a Spoet in you?

Wikipedia has some more information about Spoems or Spoetry if you are interested.    You can learn how to submit your works to Spoems.com here: Submit Spoems.
