I like Paul Moller with his flying "cars". Specially as i was younger, i was so facinated and collected all the informations i could catch about his projects. But now, i dont think anymore that his flying "cars" will be ever be useful in future, but it is cool that he made them...

you can see toward the end that the crane is not supporting the vehicles weight, it is merely a safety line. would you want to test out a concept without some sort of safety precaution?
