As an avid hiker, backpacker and camper. The miracle antenna has a very small weight load, small footprint and is easily deployed. Everyone thinks you have to have big. This antenna is a well designed portable device. If you're looking for the best and the smallest antenna for portable HF. This is probably going to be the ticket. You have a strong carrier and good sideband suppression! 73' peace :)

A lot of good reviews in the miracle whip web site, but i was steered away from it since i want to get an 817 too! I just passed my teck and general test last night and am still smiling! 73's KN

I was told (from many hams that build and know antennas) that this Miracle Antenna is a piece of junk! There is a lot better antennas out there!
