Amazing bike but seriously where the hell does all the weight come from?

90 horse my rear! i out pulled one with my v with 70 horse! i've checked these bikes out and they are a waste of money! you want to cruise buy a softtail, you want to run buy a vrod. don't settle for this sticker bike.

"With this bike enthusiasts of powerful bicylinders ... have finally found a Harley to fancy... as grunting a Roadster as you could possibly hope to have...
- 90bhp from a 1200cc...
- tacho' red zone at 7000rpm, thank you very much"
Too bad Ducati Monster and Guzzi Griso will run circles around them...
Too bad it isn't sold in the US...

Yeh, your right mate. Harley should get there heads out of thier arses, and make new models not. Not keep using the same ol' spare parts bucket specials bits thats kicking around there workshops. The VROD was a massive leap for Harley now they just sit on there hands. Who the hell needs this XR1200. Europe's not into the tracker scene? Most UK buyers think a Buells a horse! With no history to speak of and no massive marketing, will it ever get it noticed over here??

Buell 1125R motorcycle: an American sportbike with an Austrian engine. V-twin. 146 hp. 82 ft/lbs torque. 10,500 rpm redline. 6-speed tranny
jonztown (July 11th, 2009 @ 1:05 pm)
How about making a Buell with a V Rod engine and transmission and then you would have an american sport bike. This old engine and tranny they keep fiddling with just aint cutting it. I know, i have had 2 sportsters, fat boys, crossbones and have left them all for a Night Rod.
Drop the Buell name, nobody wants a bike with that name, they want a harley which is what it is after all with an old tech motor.

Your right matey. I rode one.
Engines...ok. Suspensions a bit hard. Not a bike to do many miles on. Hole bike feels at odds with the engine. Triumph do a good Speed triple simillar style and holds its value well.
Aerospacemaniac (June 24th, 2009 @ 4:43 am)
I can't figure out if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
Marciaus007 (May 5th, 2009 @ 11:00 am)
i rode one, the vibration is so big on idle that it will shake my brane off, but was fine while riding, foot pegs are too wide for me, big dissapoitment
