AC DC is corny but simeltaneously amazing, like most good hard rock groups. AC/DC is probably the least cheesey band tough. I love those tunes. But Im more of a grunge guy personally.

they both rock. not even gonna bother looking to see how ad/dc got brought into this, but i think what people are trying to say is ac/dc has more fans. i read that ac/dc are the most requested band on the radio. so you can say they suck, but that stat has to count for something.

may hav been big!.they hav sold over 210millon albums,hav the 2nd biggest selling album ever,pearl jam didn't even sell out etihad stadium in melbourne,acdc hav sold it out 3 times for the feb concert 10 and could hav sold it out more if they had more shows,thats 210,000 people in the one state,acca dacca are the greatest hard rock band ever stooge!

Your kidding me, right? Listen to early ACDC (pre Brian Johnson) and then justify your comment. ACDC (with Bon Scott) will be remembered for a lot longer than Peal Jam). Ride on ACDC.

I concur. Something "ground breaking" is characterised by being innovative and original. ACDC are a SICK band, but I don't think they deviated from the hard rock style of music enough to be considered "Ground breaking".

That doesn't make it ground breaking. It just sold a lot. Just because they were big doesn't make them ground breaking. Other people and groups have changed the music industry much more than AC DC. AC DC are like a lot of bands, just bigger, therefore, not ground breaking.
