even so, modern throwers are stronger, and don't throw as far. the 70s and 80s guys were good :)

they are two difrent thecnices. But in both of them the throw STARTS from the BACK of the sirkle and the release is in the end.

brian oldfield's throw in the superstars competition was legendary, i saw that show live and it brought a tear to my eye that his throw in an official circle and with steel tape was not recognized as a world record. that day was very special indeed.
