I believe we never seen him skate to music like this thats more relaxed. I believe this is one of his techincal best performances I do believe there was something missing but he needed this after a season of 3rd and 2nds

Actually, Yagudin and Plushenko never had high level of footwork, just high quality footwork. Both of them would have received a Level 1 or 2 for their footwork sequences but about a +2 or +3 GOE. And nowadays, doing crossovers with arm movements around the rink just doesn't cut it anymore.

I still miss somebody like Yagudin, Plushenko or Stojko. They all did quad, very high level of foot work and of course artistic. Some of female skaters can do 3-3-, 3-2 or 3-axcel as well as them or better than them. I really do think that male skaters should do at least one quad for more excitement. That,s why I like Brian Jubert. I hope he does clean program and shows the world that he can do it and he's the champion. Cause I'm waiting for another legend like 2002 olympians.

is it just me or is this program totally lacking in the normal excitement of Evans programs. I dont know why, but I feel like he totally lost all of passion in his skating this season. Watch his straightline footwork at the end of the program and compare it to his others. It is totally lethargic and lacking the speed and enthusiams he is so well known for. Of course I couldnt be happier for him and I think he is a totally deserving World Champion, but I dont think this is his best performance.

He did a great job, it may not have been the most technical program i have seen from him but he really made a character that mixed well with the jumps, spins and footwork. It was great!!
