phil: I'll give you that. He's definitely effective at getting under people's skin. I'm a perfect example. My Ott hatred stems from him not backing it up. I also can't stand Jordin Tootoo but he'll fight most anyone to defend his cheapshot actions. Sometimes, he does turtle and skate away (like Ott). Ott will fight smaller guys, bearhug refs and just plain chicken-out. Regardless of who wins the fight, Ott usually ends up on top of the guy talking smack and gouging an eye (Travis Moen).

Well at least I know I'm not arguing with a retard. As much as you hate the guy; As much as you think he is a coward or pussy or any other undesirable thing to be, he is good at his job with his team. You can say his job is being a ' complete and utter pussy' but once you bring down your wall and admit it, it boils down to him having an NHL job because he plays an effective role with his team.

No need to. Probably some lame explanation of your self-described 'hockey knowledge' and the varied roles of agitator / instigator. Duck-and-cover is usually associated with Civil Defense films of the '50's and not a Stars wanker in the tunnel after getting ejected. Hard to take anyone seriously who defends Steve Ott. Guy's a cheapshot coward.
