race is socially constructed, and everything is burrowed from our civilization, culture, history, etc.

i don't know why they didn't go back to africa..that's a good question..maybe they didn't know the way back..lol

...my point being that races don't collectively accomplish anything. And no, race is not a biologically scientific construct, it's a social one.

from an evolutionary and adaptation standpoint its far from artificial, we as the human race came from one spot (where ever that place may be) and spread and where went after reshaped our bodies and minds, and i think the fact that we survived and made cultures, technologies, and beliefs all our own is something everyone should take pride in that a piece of the DNA they carry helped push us forward, it reminds me of what untapped potential we have as humans

so they stayed in the US??? that was my point

Why should anyone be proud of their skin color or be proud of what others have done based on whether or not they share a race? People should be proud of what they accomplish and what they do as people. We didn't do anything to get the skin we're all wrapped in... and nobody represents any "race" as it's an artificial human construct anyway.

our people couldn't get back home..i think some actually did make it back but with the lynch mobs they had for the runaways posted up everywhere, it was hard for the slaves to get away...
