I had a chance to get a 817 with one of all cables psk31 and all that carry case 40-meter dipole in eveyone said get the ic-706 in the only extra thing was a sencond power cord man I should have got that 817 instead of the 706 nice video

That is a nice portable antenna for 7MHz. Have you thought of putting the construction details onto a web page somewhere? What were your radials or counterpoise? 73 de David vk2dmh
