¡Schitt! ê! ü! æ!

Back

Ignoring this description dooms you to be confused. Many have asked to hear this, so here it is, and then some. Listen as ¡Schitt! ê! ü! æ! puts on the worst performance ever done anywhere. Audio from the actual performance on July 20, 2003, illustrated with pencil drawings. ¡Schitt! ê! ü! æ! was created as a satire of the Neutral Ground Coffeehouse's typical open microphone night which was almost always filled with interminable political speakers and terrible music acts. Hours of planning went into figuring out what elements could make a stage act considered "bad", and the worst of these were incorporated into the set featured in this video. The songs played are incredibly butchered and unrecognizable versions of Beck's "Debra" and "Steve Threw Up", as well as the traditional folk song "Ball o'Kerrymuir".
