VW owns both Audi and Lamborghini, so I don't think it's really a competition.

the r8 is nicer as far as luxary and everyday driving goes but the gt-r r35 beats it on the track with the better engine, better all wheel drive, better areodynamics and the gtr is cheeper also, i would prefer to have a gtr but different people like different things

Better all wheel drive? Better aerodynamics? Dude, are we even talking about the same car here? The R8 is far more than just luxury and comfortable driving, I mean, the only reason that GT-R beats it on the quarter-mile (by only 1 sec) is its turbo aspirated engine. R8's lighter by 400 pounds, it's got manual transmission with a closer ratio, a midmounted engine and it's definitely more aerodinyamic; just add a V8 TFSI or a V10 FSI engine to it and pow! Good-bye GT-R.

German carworks are extremely brilliants, i had the oportunity to drive many audi cars, not R8, but it's far supperior to BMW. I don't know if nissan would do... But Driving an audi car, it's an extreme experience, not just for the car, the great details and the Audi Simphonic SoundSystem....

the gtr is faster and a beast where the r8 is just more aesthetically pleasing

nothing as sharp as a r8. gtr is noice though but its workmanship and quality is far under the r8. its like comparing a maxima to an s8 or a8
