Barbaro - When You BelieveBackA video diary of our guy, the Champ. This video was made in August 2006, when things were looking up for him. Barbaro recovered from his shattered right hind leg suffered in the 2006 Preakness, he spent a very happy and content 8 + months recoverring at New Bolton Center. Barbaro was ultimately euthanized on Jan 29 - 2007 due to Laminitis. He was our boy, and we love him deeply. His passing shattered our hearts. His fighting spirit lives on and through Barbaro many people have come to love horses and make the world a better place for them. Barbaro's fans are his greatest legacy.
