Roland Jupiter 8 acting strangely

I just received this JP-8 I purchased from a seller that stated "ALL ORIGINAL LOW HOURS. WORKS GREAT, LAST OWNER USED IT FOR ONES AND TWOS." First, it pwoers up and 4 of 8 voices play. Both Solo and Unison mode produce noise. Arpeggiator does not work. Later, the synth just wigs out. Any Jupe 8 owners out there ever experience this or have any input? Sorry, the audio is a bit overdriven.
