So you're saying that how hard you work is equally related to how successful you are? That'll you get what you deserve? How about Paris Hilton, did she become a millionaire because she 'worked hard'? No, she was born into it. How about a single mother who works two jobs to support her children but can barely afford a house? Is she not working hard enough?

The mother didn't work hard enough when it counted the most, and yes depending on how hard you work in America DOES reflect directly onto your success, it's a fact. Barack Obama is a fine example of this. Depending on the case, the mother may have made some poor life choices and looked at crossroads in her life with poor judgment.
