They're not better or worse than the Blue Angels, Thunderbirds, or Snowbirds. The Red Arrows and Snowbirds fly T1A & CT-114 trainers which are relatively slow, but each team has large formations/grouping displays which are impressive. The Blue Angels and Thunderbirds (F-16 & F-18) fly very fast with extreme stunts and high-speed areobatics. They are impressive as well. All have something unique as teams individually. They are all good and it shouldn't be considered a competition.

Agreed, all the groups excel in their own way. All of them are very skilled and they are all the best of the best.

Very well said redblackleather. I think its just as logical to say which group is better just by preference to the aircraft.

The Reds are nothing short of fanttastic. I saw the "Danger Men" too, and it showed the guys at their best. Likewise though, i respect the Americans and Canadians. All of the flying was nothing short of brilliant!

incidentally I thought it showed a lot of class from the Americas to come up and congratulate the Red arrows after their diaply at he North American air show and admit they were out done - none of this nationalistic nonsense. The lady crying whilst watching thier evening performance was a great image
