The history of this show is amazing, and rife with controversy. Check it out. It's a "miracle" that everything came together to give us this timeless Shulz masterpiece - complete with the King James "Luke" passage, and Vince Guaraldi's fantastic score. The original airing was sponsored by Coca-Cola. They certainly couldn't get away with promoting the Gospel in today's hyper "PC" society, but for old times' sake I'm gonna run across the street and have a Coke! Merry Christmas YouTubers!

In this short passage, the Bible tells you right away who Jesus is: a Savior. (The word Christ means Messiah, or The Anointed, which is why the Angels refered to Him as Savior.) If you've never done so, read the book of Matthew. It's the first book of the New Testament, less than 40 pages in length, and chronicles the birth, death, and resurection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Seriously, give it a try. I did, and I'm glad!
