University of Rochester's Institute for the Family's MFT Training Program

Back

The University of Rochester Medical Center's Institute for the Family houses one of the most unique and forward-thinking family therapy training programs in the country. The Medical Center's legacies, most notably Lyman Wynne and George Engel, originated and promoted the biopsychosocial model and initiated its application to work with individuals, couples, and families across disciplines. Our Family Therapy Training Program teaches and trains from this model, and continues to be on the cutting edge of scholarship, research, clinical practice, and integration in health care that is truly mind, body, and spirit. We encourage you to take a look, and contact us for more information or to inquire about our COAMFTE-accredited training programs (Master's and Post-Degree Certificate). www.instituteforthefamily.urmc.edu
