Students Seek Competitive Edge by Taking Adderall, Ritalin

Back

FOX 5/Atlanta: Some students call them smart pills or brain steroids. Adderall and Ritalin are legal stimulants prescribed for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder -- ADHD -- in ever greater numbers. The report includes interviews with Georgia Tech student John Howard, Lieutenant Mike Hunsiger, students Eric Worrell and Mary Margaret Powers, UGA drug counselor Mike Friedline and psychiatrist Dr. Richard Winer.
