Make Money with Subscription Bots

Pandorabots has a system for any botmaster to make money with his or her bot. Any user -- even of the free Pandorabots server -- can set up subscription bot service and allow their customers to purchase subscription versions of their bots. This video shows how it's done. The ability to make money with subscription bots is limited only by your imagination. All you need is a unique bot character that people will pay a small amount of money for. You can receive payments through a payment system such as Paypal, and generate a unique subscription link for your customer to access the bot for a set number of months. TRANSCRIPT: Pandorabots has a system for any botmaster to make money with his or her bot. Any user -- even of the free Pandorabots server -- can set up subscription bot service and allow their customers to purchase subscription versions of their bots. Let me show you how it's done. Clients who chat with the ALICE chat bot on the AI Foundation web site are offered the opportunity to consider purchasing several subscription bots. The AI Foundation offers the ALICE Silver Edition, the DAVE E.S.L. bot, and and the CLAUDIO Personality Test bot. Let's take a look at the CLAUDIO Personality Test bot. The Claudio Personality Test bot allows clients to chat with the bot and the bot will try to make a determination of their personality type. On the splash page for the Personality Test bot you see an example of the avatar which will be deliverd with the bot. The AI Foundation offers you the opportunity to purchase a subscription to the Personality Test bot for $9.99 using a Paypal subscription button. By clicking on that link we go to a payment page on Paypal. Here, the client enters his or her payment information and sends a payment to the ALICE AI Foundation. When a client purchases a subscription Paypal sends an email notification to the ALICE A.I. Foundation. Upon receiving the notification, we log into the Pandorabots server. On the botmaster control page, select the bot for which the customer made a subscription purchase. On that bot's page, we need to use the Pandorabots Subscribers feature. Now if this had been the real CLAUDIO Personality Test bot, at this point we would see a list of customers who have already purchased subscriptions to the bot. In this case for demonstration purposes I have created a new CLAUDIO bot which has no subscribers. If your bot does not have any subscribers you need to initiate the subscription process by clicking on the sign up feature shown here. Now we can begin to add subscribers. Our customer who has an email address at Yahoo dot com has subscribed to the CLAUDIO personality test bot for a period of one month. So we'll add him or her as a subscriber. And as you can see, Pandorabots has generated a unique link to the bot for this particular subscriber. We now compose an email to the customer using a standard form letter reply. We copy and paste the link from the subscriber section into our email and send it to the customer. Upon receipt of the email the customer can open the link to his or her unique copy of the personality test bot. The customer will be able to access the CLAUDIO Personality Test bot for a period month, after which the link will expire.
