How many killed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki? 200,000 to 300,000.During WWII Japanese killed 6 million in China alone.If you count rest of Asia then you get over 10 million lives killed by the Japanese from the beginning of their colonization in the early 20th century to the end of WWII..Why is Japan saying they are the victims of WWII(?)& continue to Whitewash their history books still never apologizing UNEQUIVOCALLY? All Japanese good and bad, please go and look in the mirror...

I will in no way minimize the suffering caused by the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. There are no words that satisfactorily describe the horror of nuclear war. I will also not condemn the US for its actions. A land invasion of Japan would have been horrible for both sides. The destruction would have been widespread and the suffering would have been greater. If the bomb had not been dropped, it is possible a nuclear war with Russia would have happened.

Urgh You Don't Know.You Have A Point But they murder children and women and they really messed them up if you didnt see the doc.So in this no one won it was just full of pain and suffering epecialy for the familes And Also they problay threw like small bombs we decide to bomb not just 1 but I Belive like 3 towns or citys.So try to feel a little sympathy those were familys they had nothing to do with the war going on they were living their life until we decide to go and destory it

Incinerating and disfiguring over 200,000 men, women and children doesn't quite equate with Pearl Harbour,a military attack on a military target. To drop the first bomb was appalling, to drop the second on Nagasaki was unconscionable. You won the war all right, and to this day the US remains embroiled in wars that keep killing civilians.

agreed, we had 4 other options to its just not right to kill 200,000 men women and children and not only that we left the survivors with physical and mental scars. we left so many children as orphans and destroyed homes and left them to starve and dehydrated. If you've seen the movie the tell if you drank water you would die instantly its just disgracful especially when we had four other options!
