Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Nov 7 09 ABackHere are some more Spectator Mode matches. I should never try playing this game on the weekend...the busier the time I play, the less liekly I am to find an opponent. I stopped after 25 minutes without an opponent and went to Spectator Mode. It seems the SSBB matchmaking system is fine-tuned for small stuff, but when thre are a lot of people, the game totally chokes. It says something when I'm finding people more often on Meteos Wars, a game where the critics complained of the difficulty in finding opponents. Match #1 Mushroomy Kingdom Wow, how did Pit get that first point? Oh, I see. The Hothead. He's not even a direct participant in the match, with Link and Toon Link duking it out below as Pit and Meta Knight watch from above. It kind of says something when he can keep up without even doing much at all. Match #2 Green Hill Zone No, that's not how you're supposed to use the Paper Fan! The Paper Fan is supposed to be used as an infinie combo machine. You're supposed to repeatedly push the button and slap your foes left and right, then do the finishing blow with a throw. You're not supposed to throw the fan right away--especially in a Team Battle, where your teammate can come over and land a powerful hit when they're helpless to fight back. Match #3 Luigi's Mansion I can't believe these shenanigans are still going on...where Luigi's Mansion is selected as a stage and one player proceeds immediately to break down the mansion so it can be more like Final Destination, Sheesh, give this stage its own identity. Though....what R.O.B. did after the first few moments implies he wasn't going to take this match too seriously.
