Vine and Branches Ministries: Piedras Negras, Mexico. Outreach Project: Victoria: Christian Soccer League. First Tournament Feb-June 2009 with 19 churches participating, over 250 players, of them 65 were invited (unreached people) to participate on the church teams. Of those 65, 42 accepted Christ and are assisting a church. One of the referees also accepted Christ and he along with 3 other boys from the league were just baptized in July! PRAISE GOD for giving us the vision and provision and for this opportunity to reach out together from so many different churches with the same goal: Winning souls for Christ! We have just been given by the city 5 acres of land for exclusive use and development of the VICTORIA soccer league. WOW!!!!!! As well the mayors office is assisting us in preparing our home soccer field, at no cost to us, on the 3 acre property the ministry purchased 2 years ago, for our future Outreach Recreational Center. Finally we are excited that even the local soccer union which organized the Piedras Negras, city team wants to grant full use and priority to the VICTORIA soccer league to play our games in the city stadium during our upcoming SECOND TOURNAMENT! God is confirming over and over that He truly is going before us and we desire to walk in His will.
