they're not going to make every place dark, they're only using darkness for appropriate locations, besides this video is outdated and much has changed since

i liked all the dungeons and stuff but what i think of when i think diablo is the rogue moor that was real dark and depressing this looks to bright

i think the obvious thing about it is it's really not dark enough. like in d2 the textures and the whole scene gives you the more serious feeling compared to the more cartoon-like scene in d3.
