Begining of the mass at the holy Armenian church of Echmiadzin. Surb Echmiadzin is the holy city of Armenians, home to his holiness Karekin II, head of the Armenian Apostolic Church. In 301 AD, Armenia was the first nation to adopt Christianity as the offical state religion! Armenia is only one of two Christian countires in the region; the other being the Republic of Georgia. Sorry if the video is a bit shakey. I video-taped a lot of the mass and I had to hold the camera very high over people's heads. LOL
