Karlheinz Stockhausen: "Kreuzspiel" (1951)for oboe, bass clarinet, piano and percussion. The title (translated "Crossplay") refers to the crossplay between the sustained instruments (oboe and bass clarinet) and the non-sustaining instruments (piano and percussion), and well as the crossplay between the melodic instruments and percussion.
