The 1980s were closed out with one final game for the ages. Rumeal Robinson's two free throws with three seconds left in OT led to a Michigan victory over Seton Hall. The 80-79 win under interim head coach Steve Fisher was the first in Wolverine history. Glen Rice led Michigan in scoring with 31 points.
