I had an 8830 but as you said it really felt dainty and eventually some of the keys stopped working. Always kept it in the case and routinely polished it and blew the dust out but nonetheless I find it to be alot less durable then my previous 8703e. So I ordered an new 8703e from ebay for $89. I can't wait.

People are always switching phones and they always want to try new things. If you find something you like, stick with it. I have tmo and used a sklx for a while and my bb pearl just does it for me. I'll prob use it until the bb bold is released but it might be hard for me to get rid of the pearl. It has done well for me and is just a solid phone. Stick with what fits you best. Nothing wrong with old.

you should make mo videos because dis one was real informative. i had an 8703 wif Verizon went back ta Nextel now i'm thinkin i should reactivate mah 8703 or getta 8830. but i'm gunna get mah 8703 reactivated. Good look yo

ive had all type of phone and the 8700c is my business phone and i love the shit out of it. this my 4th 8700c im a phone hoe to.

You did a fine job reviewing, I like real people doing down to earth reviews so yours was good. I never have owned a BB but want to soon and I really like the 8830. I have Sprint, so I'll wait and see how the 8330 Curve is when it comes out this month or next, pretty soon though Sprint is getting it.

It's not what more that I want it's just that for me the 8703 fits better in my hands and feels better to me.

It was released a couple days ago. verizon got their curve a couple days before sprint as well.
