Boy this song takes me Bak!!!! This song always lets me know when summer is here!!! Everytime the radio stations used to play this song, i knew it was time 2 pull out my shorts, sandals, n tank tops!!!!!! LMAO!!!!

Kool & The Gang's backdrop already produced a laid back, nostalic kind of feel. Then the tweaking of it by Jeff, Will's lyrics, the video images that were burned into our brains, and the thirst for positive music work together to make it classic! It seems like they were just enjoying living and each other. Not a gun in sight, no gang signs, they even had their pants up!!! Love it.

I remember how they were pre-hyping this video by telling everyone they had something special at the end of one of the Fresh Prince of Bel Aire show, and they broke out this at the end.
