Je connais bien des voltigeurs Français et j'assure qu'ils ne portent jamais de bobs ou casquettes lors des vols de voltige. Même moi qui fais du vol à voile, mon frère m'a déconseiller de prendre un bob.

The author is Julius Dobos, and it is on a CD called "Mountain Flying", or something like this :)

You will never be able to stand -7G without any G-suit ... at the most -2G. The plane will better resist against the G than any pilot by the way :D

G-suit not helps on negative G-s. Actually, it would worsens it's effects. But every aerobatics pilot could withstand -7G-s. Even I had experienced -7G once (it was a mistake, the plane what I have flown is allowed for -6G). But -5.5 is usual in glider aerobatics: this is what you get at the beginning of an inverted loop. It is not a deal, you have to stand it for a second or two. Only at the beginning of the season you have red speckles on your face after some negative G-s:)
