This is a historical video document (© Imperial War Museum) took by english army in S.Polo and Civitella Val di Chiana. The massacre of 244 civilians in Civitella (29 June 1944) done by german soldiers, was a revenge for the two Wehrmacht soldiers killed by partisans. 65 people were killed in S.Polo in an anti-partisan action, before Wehrmacht left the city. I want to share this video not to intensify the rancour but to give evidence to brutality and madness of EVERY war. Everywhere and everytime...
