Tango français - Joséphine BAKER !

It was not easy to find tango in a great recording legacy of Mademoiselle Baker - it was not sort of her expresion. However, once(?) it had happened and I am happy to be able to present this tango-like exotic musical yearning here. Josephine Baker vsited Poland three times: 1937, 1959 and 1969. Her first visit was enormous sensation: beautiful, vivid, dark body in a little skirt made of bananas keeping in her hand a golden-like small box which turned out to be a technical novelty: a microphone; Miss Baker ventured to show to the public how it worked and that without this little golden wonder she actually - has NO voice at all...:-)
