I am 19 years old, most of the music I listen to is from this time period or earlier (miles davis, thelonious munk... etc.)the music of today is for the most part crappy but there defintly still are great musicians out there. The people who say all the music of today sucks are incredibly niave and probably no little about music. Pop music of today sucks, but check out guys like Chic Corea and Victor Wooten of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.Great musicians are still out there if you lookGreat post

I thought this was timeless 1st time around, I remember thinking, people will be listening to this stuff in the 21st century! and being astonished with what they hear!

A great example of how moving progressive rock could be. Anyone who has dismissed the genre as pretentious and boring should remind themselves of Traffic. The sax in the lineup is reminiscent of a 70's era Crimson.

Interesting percussion choices. Jim Gordon is very capable, yet it is Rebob's work that makes this outstanding. Where do we find Capaldi? With a tambourine? I would not change a thing here, but I always found that very unusual.

Boy you people have it right...it is time for music and beauty to re-emerge.....maybe the hard times ahead will remind people of what's really important in life.
