funny thing is that I liked the Burton version for "Planet of the Apes"...

I like both Burton and Smith. I don't think one's better than the other, they both have totally different ways that they write, produce, and direct. They're works are two different genres all together. Though, Kevin Smith is funnier, but Tim Burton is more sophisticated. I think those are the only two things that are fact.

Why did they have to cut him off at the end? That guy in a suit said it's just the way this is set up...was there supposed to be somebody else on afterwards? Or were they just accomodating the administrators who were due to clock out and go home?

Ok, he's funny, but come on, he's talkin about Tim thinkin bein gothic and shit, but Kevin is a motherfuckin fat nerd... by the way, Tim is a lot more talented than Kevin...

Jesus. This is absurd. Two very slightly derogatory comments about Kevin Smith and the mindset of ADULTS who read comics and I recieve negative comments. A lesson learnt - Never annoy fanboys.

I was listening sir. My point is that Kevin Smith may know his comic books, but, because he's nearly 40, it's not something to be proud of. I maintain that Burton is a far better film maker than Kevin Smith. Granted, Smith can write quite good dialogue though. Batman '89 is still the second greatest Batman movie.

rofl dude were you not listening he said Tim Burton not reading comic books resulted in Batman (the movie) when you watched that movie back in the day it was awesome watch it now and tell me that it is still the best listen next time jackass

Why do the audience applause the sentiment that Tim Burton does not read comics (esp. K. Smith's). Adults should not gloat about reading comic books. Batman 1989 was better than anything Kevin Smith has made.
