I agree 100% with PeekaPeep. I for one thought that this work was by far his most daring, and was a sign of what was to come. I haven't found the same depth in much of his work since "Human Beings." I recall his first album and how eerie it got at times and was drawn because of it. Seal is an amazing musical force.

This song speaks directly to the soul....

Seal's most underrated album, I think. It was a lot darker in musical scope and subject matter, which kinda made for an uneasy listen for some who were already familiar with his more popular and accessible hit singles prior to this. But give it a chance and you'll see just how brilliant a work it truly is. Seal and producer Trevor Horn couldn't do NO wrong around this time!

i love this song but what i love even more about this song and the entire album is the music.. for example, true bliss from 2:39-2:48 the composers were just so perfect on this album and it may be the best composing for a seal album to date..
however seal's passionate singing building up to these musical moments are what make them so incredible..

Haven't you listened to the song? There's a reason his face continually changes. He's singing about all of us that are human beings, the destiny of our death, no one escapes. WE, all human beings. They did an exceptional job transforming his face into so many other people's. It's part of the video and makes perfect sense. Pay attention.
