Why did the government need to collect tax money? If winning the war was so important, they could have just printed the money,,,then after we won, pull the excess money out of circulation...Its all about mind control.

exactly, this is from a completely different era at a very strange time. The video itself is surreal and a little scary but it should be put in context with the way video and cartoons (particularly public service once such as this) were done back then. This was something very new, so it might seem way to overt and blatant in asking for every dime and direct connection to taxes and victory but it isnt that bad and you must condsider the people commissioned, Walt Disney.
