I do not know how old you are...but, the light-skinned man was in style during the 1980's and upon the release of that movie that reign ended and dark brothas were ushered in. Whatever attention you have received since that movie is nothing compared to the way it was prior to that movie. Light-skinned women have never gone out of style...that is correct.
