Spoems - Robert F. Kennedy

Robert F. Kennedy

Back

The famous Indianapolis speech, in which RFK broke to a mostly black crowd the news of MLK's assassination, followed by a dramatic audio/video montage of the very moments of his own assassination. After it was over, eleven bullets were found altogether, although Shiran's gun could only carry eigth.

now look 40 years later!!! And isn`t it amazing that it was Bobby who said: in 40 years a black american will be president? that was in ´68... Ethel said, Obama and Bobby are of the same cloth, both care deeply for those who struggle - and that there is nothing phoney about Obama... I WANT him to realize this american dream of STANDING TOGETHER AS ONE, against the MINDLESS MENACE OF VIOLENCE in this world... hopefully...

I will never forget the moment, when the news came through on TV. I cried for hours - and I still miss him so much. He was still quite an aggressive young one, when Jack was in the white house - and he changed into one of the most human politician of the area. So many would have survived in Vietnam, for example, if he hadn´t been shot... and it really seems like the CIA behind it, again. It still makes me so sad that Bobby never had a chance to show his values as a president of the USA.

'Somebody shot Robert.' What a devastating quote.

Amazing speech, impossible not to be inspired and touched by such a man. We can only imagine how history could have been changed....

he thought slavery was morally wrong, but yes he did think blacks were inferior. he wanted to send them back to africa or to south america.
