k, i know uv solved this, but ill just do this for others. the r4 is not an sdhc version, so thats why it aint workin'. its also a 4gb, but everyone knows that the REGULAR r4 is only compatible with up to 2 gb. also, be careful wat firmware u download there is a difference as to if ur card is white or black( michael jackson style ) and u need to go to different websites if ur card is a different colour. it will hav a pic with ur cartridge colour so u will know. i forget the links, sorry :(

i have 4 GB micro SDHC and it works well on my R4 III SDHC. you need the new R4 SDHC to use micro SDHC (up to 32 gb)

R4 ds can use up to 4 GB..... the new R4 SDHC III can use SDHC micro card up to 32 GB. you cant use the SDHC micro card on your normal R4 ds.

For those you have ERRORS on their screen,,try to reinstall and re- formatted everything again. This have work for me. NO the R4 does not support 4gb sd cards. Only the new R4 3 upgrade will work with 4gb-32gb high speed trans flash card

sorry to say this,, but the sd card won't delete any files any more since it create a virtual lock. I have tried to this my self too, It took me a long research to get the answer. my mac won't give me this problem, but using a PC...have. and there is no deleting on that virtual lock.

The R4 only supports up to 2GB. It DOES NOT take SDHC cards.

mines was working fine till i pressed random buttons then i quit then turn back on it said SD/TF Card Error!:((( can anyone tell me what happend

maybe you didnt get the right version of the kernel or moonshell
