Coming from Sallins, heading for Dublin, I hit the long sweeping left hand on-ramp for the N7 on the Varadero thou, scraping the pegs on the way down!

Post something on riding in Dublin City centre during morning rush hour. My main bugbear is the sleepy eyed jaywalking pedestrians, latté in hand, as they walk between cars, and walk out in front of high sided vehicles with no expectation of the filtering motorcyclist. If you sound the horn to warn them they see it as a rebuke and some will tell you to f**k off. I'm interested in a helmet cam, but don't know what set up to get. What are you using?. Would appreciate some lead on this...?

Don't start, if its not some prat in a fancy suit banging away on his mobile to some client in some other country, who decides not to wait the extra 20 seconds for the green man because he needs to get to some overpriced sandwich shop to get a shitty overpriced sandwich and ANOTHER cup of coffee, then its some twat bag student, pissed off cause her parents won't pay for 3 months in the US this summer with all her friends, bouncing along the road iPod blaring so loudly she doesn't hear traffic

& doesn't bother to check if its green or not, cars are stopped, that must mean its ok to cross and doesn't notice the filtering motorcyclist, well she notices when you clutch in, rev up on a litre V twin, then dump the clutch, she gets such a fright she neally jumps into the liffey and sits there, on her hole, cursing bikers, while I'm already at the next set of lights. Bet she'll watch out in future, well, maybe for the rest of the day, she'll prob forget tomorrow and go back to zombie mode.
