What Keyboard is he playing for the polyphonic Sounds? Is it also the Fairlight? It sounds damn good. (Of course it sounds so good 'cause Herbie is playing it...but anyone got an idea?) ;)

This is a historic interview of two of Chicago's finest legends of music. I just love how Herbie allows new technology help him create music, while Q is looking on and studying with Herbie.

I agree with the interviewer, Herbie, and Quincy; No matter your sophistication, background, or whatever, the FUNK should bleed through your instrument. My African blood is Funk type positive. I love the mark Herb and Quincy made in music, and I truly appreciate this video. So no matter what anyone may say, have a beautiful Funkin' day!!!

Its been 8 going on 9 years for me. I started with Acid Music 1.0, those were the days. Around 2004, I was soooo sick of computers crashing on me, I went hardware and analog, started with a 6 channel mixer, and a JVC cassette deck, and used a Akai AX-60 analog synth, Akai S612 sampler, and the original Korg Electribes. Wish i knew what i was doing back when I made it, I have a Marantz tape deck that sounds amazing, and can get awesome recordings out of. But thats the past!

Boy, Herbie sure can articulate when he talks. Most musicians fall apart in front of a camera, Herbie speaks like hes talking right to you. Awesome video, man I wish I had all of those vintage synths and samplers.
