CNN Bill Bennett bashes CNN over Bristol Palin coverage. Can't say I blame him. First here's the report by someone named Kiera Phillips (no keys in TV anymore so excuse the spelling), Kiera tells us CNN sent her there to look into a rumor (that Sarah's youngest child was actually Bristol's child) that had no basis other than bloggers were talking. But what she found was even worse. A pregnant teenager, keeping the child and getting married. Oh the humanity. She then promises to dig even deeper into the lives of the kids.

Obama showed some class by saying the topic should be left alone, but Palin set herself up for this. The Republicans are incredibly two faced about the issue, as well. As many have said, if Obama had a 17 year old daughter about to give birth, the Pubs would be all over it. In fact, PALIN would be all over it. She would be harping on it at every whistle stop. So, Sarah .... how's that abstinence only education thing, workin out for ya? WINK, WINK, WINK!

You don't understand my point. Sarah Palin has publicly said that abstinence only sex ed will reduce teen pregnancy. She educated her daughter to abstain; it didn't work. I don't think any sex eduction philosophy is the best, but when Sarah PUBLICLY supports abstinence only sex ed that did not work in her PERSONAL life, then it is not surprising that the media talks about it. If Sarah Palin wasn't such a strong supporter of abstinence only sex ed, the media wouldn't be dissecting it so much.
