hey, this is one of the best English language songs. Ever. Proven by the fact that young DJs spin it still. But I remember the week it came out...! And its as fresh to me now, as then. Go on Paul!

Hahahaha...The young people like myk2201 will never understand the excitement of living in a world when there were only vinyl records or tapes and none of this mp3 crap that has made music virtually meaningless...we waited for months in anticipation of the next Jam record and bought it on the day of release! It was ritualistic and what defined us...can you understand that myk2201? And very sorry to say all djs are overpaid arseholes who don't have any real musical talent...

what wrong with you people, i'm young and of corse i know what vinyl is! please do not insult young people this way, all the best DJ's 2day still spin vinyl and some of them only release work on vinyl. i am a budding dj and i only spin vinyl, theres so much more fun to be had compared to CD and other digital formats!

Get the goosebumps all over when I hear this song after 26 years! Got it for my 16th birthday from friends in the candy stripe 12 inch vinyl (for all you youngsters google 'vinyl'...lol)...Paul is a British legend and definitely the most inspirational artist of the modern era...

Bruce Foxton will always remain one of the best bassists of that era. His bass riff's made The Jam the outstanding outfit that they were.
