Tour the 5th century citadel, the Gjergj Kastrioti Museum which was built to honour Albania's national hero Skanderbeg who fought the Ottomans from this mountain fortress. Just outside the citadel is the old bazaar selling lots of Albanian souvenirs such as flags, T-shirts, folk costumes and the traditional felt hats.
