Grito del Día de la Independencia de MEXICO - 2009

President Felipe Calderón leads the Republic of Mexico in the traditional "grito" (shout) of independence from the National Palace on the zócalo of Mexico City. This takes place just before midnight every year to mark the anniversary of Mexico's independence (September 16). As you watch this celebration, say a prayer for Mexico and all her people.
