The decision comes in the wake of recent reports --- that actress Mary-Kate Olsen was demanding immunity before answering questions about the startling death of her close friend.Authorities say Olsen was the first person called by a masseuse who found the 28-year-old actor's lifeless body in his Manhattan apartment.Government investigators had obtained a subpoena that could have forced Olsen to speak--- if she continued to hold out. That supaeona is no longer valid because it was contingent upon prosecutors pursuing the case.Authorities believe the painkillers oxycodone and hydrocodone found in Ledger's system were obtained with phony prescriptions or other illegal means. However, it appears that the investigation surrounding Ledger's January 22nd death --- is now closed. well, this is my opinion on how he got the drugs. He could have gone to his doctor and asked his doctor what medications he needs for his needs. then he went to a pharmacy and, their ya go. he isn't the kind of person to get illegal drugs; he would go to a doctor first.

I think you're right. And your opinion agrees with what the police found - he got the prescriptions from his doctor. Same way THOUSANDS of people who abuse prescription drugs do it.

Certainly. People get multiple prescriptions from multiple doctors, then they ignore the directions on the labels. Right at this second MILLIONS of people are doing the same thing, and some of them won't be alive for long.

alilover143, THOUSANDS of people die from prescription drug overdoses every year. THOUSANDS. All overdoses, all just accidents. The only mystery here is the mystery that silly people make up in their minds. So you're right - someone WAS involved in Heath's death. The person involved was Heath.
