There is a CD called Baba Teaches Gayathri Mantra that is 1:11 minutes not just 5 on Embodiment of Love I. Check with the Sai Baba Bookstore in Tustin mentioned here in one of the replies to see if they have it. Over and hour of this is soooo powerful!

I listen to alot of Indian traditional music because it really speaks to my soul....I was wondering there is a phrase I hear alot...I was wondering if someone could tell me what it means I think it is spelt "shanti"

"shanti " means silence

shanti according to some means peace... I think silence could apply.

Yes, Shanti means peace. It could also mean silence but in most contexts it means peace.

The Gayatri Mantra (THIRD TEXT): "AUM, we meditate on the effulgence of that Adorable Divine Being, who is the source and projector of the three worlds - the earthly plane (Bhurloka), the subtle ethereal plane (Bhuvarloka), and the heavenly plane (Svarloka). May that Supreme Divine Being stimulate our intelligence in order that we may realize the Supreme Truth." (Rig Veda III.62.10)
