I thought ( and still think ) this was a great theme song..but after I heard the japanese opening..that is definately the better of the two. Now there is no comparison between the Captain harlocks. the american theme was terrible..and the japanese awesome

What are you TRYING to say here, PINKassNINJA? I'm the one DEFENDING Star Blazers and that it's a great and classic show with a great & classic theme song. That other guy is the hater, the asshole, the detractor of Star Blazers' theme song. Get your facts straight, okay? I grew up on Star Blazers in the '80s too and loved it.
