french tv sur ARTE, l'émission de Manu Katché, invité Calvin Russel Donner à voir et à entendre la musique autrement, au plus près de sa vérité, telle est l'ambition de Manu Katché dans ce second numéro de son émission «One shot not». Une nouveauté : le batteur est désormais assisté par une présentatrice multilingue, Alice Tumler. La pétillante Franco-Autrichienne, qui, par le passé, a travaillé pour les chaînes Trace TV et Voyage, présente l'émission en français et en allemand. Ce soir, dans un décor intimiste, à l'opposé des paillettes du show télé traditionnel, le groupe électrorock parisien Poni Hoax a rendez-vous avec un géant du blues-rock, le guitariste texan Calvin Russell, la superbe voix jazz de Stacey Kent et le mystérieux compositeur Craig Armstrong.

I go way way back with Calvin. I remember the phonecall. He called and told me that Blaze had been shot to death. We were stunned to say the least. We gathered and paid tribute to Blaze in a way that he would have expected us to.
